More About Me...
I grew up loving books--thanks, in large part, to my dad. Each night after dinner, he immersed us in worlds of dragons or goblins or enchanted forests where animals came to life. Later on, in college, my children's literature professor pulled me aside and encouraged me to consider writing books for children. That interaction opened up a whole world of possibilities for me. From that day on, I began gathering ideas, writing books in my mind, and studying the craft of writing for children. I am grateful for the opportunity I have now, to write the books that have been in my heart for so long, and I hope to open up doorways of learning and imagination for future young readers.
